Making A Mess and Skirts Like Summer

I've been a bit quiet; It is that time of year! But here is some of what we have been up to in the last week. Summer has arrived here, finally! Today is hot, and we have been having a good day in the paddling pool on the deck. (I knew there was a reason a deck would be more useful than an in-ground pool.... it can be both that way!) :)

Anyway, not sure if it is the nice weather, but I've been inspired to 'do' more creative/gardening/baking pursuits lately. I hope you like them!

 

Chocolate Chip Biscuits (cookies). They were nice, not great. lol

Mini Homemade Pizzas. I put in all in bowls, they decorated themselves! Good mess!

Matching rainbow skirts (made today).

Amazing little girls, they 'brighten' my day.

Meanwhile, Daddy was cutting timber for our food buffet on the new deck! (right)

I have been making a few other things as well, but they are a secret (Christmas presents!), but I'll show you them afterwards.

 I hope your December is running as smoothly as can be expected for December. We are preparing to remember that Christ was born, and for that we have a wonderful reason to celebrate and be cheerful and to go the extra mile for our families. God's Son became a baby, grew into a man and lived to die for us; that we might have eternal life! Praise God!
