And Baby Makes 5!

Yes, you read that correctly! We have a fifth little person on the way!
We are very excited and are eagerly waiting for September, so we can cuddle him or her.

It's been a pretty hectic and emotional 3 months (see previous posts). But we are grateful that God brought us all faithfully through it, and will continue to do so.
I was able to tell Marnie about our baby whilst she was still conscious and could hear me. What a blessing!

We have been very grateful for the overwhelmingly kind and excited responses to this pregnancy. We know that having 5 children is not for everyone, but we are very prepared for this challenge. Thank you to those who have been excited for us, even if you secretly think we're crazy. ;)

Morning sickness is the pits. But thankfully just a stage. One I will be all too willing to leave behind in a few weeks. :) I am more worried when I feel fine, incase it means there is something wrong. So in a strange way, it is my comforter before those delightful kicks start!

I love this little person, even though I don't know who they are yet. Isn't that incredible. They have only been in my life for 12 weeks and already I would give my life for them. The beauty of parenting is that we get a glimpse of how unrelenting and unconditional God is in His love for us. Praise God.

Our children are very excited to be getting a new sibling. Callum has been a surprise package, with his unprompted declarations of love for the baby and kisses on my tummy! Emma has relished the role of surrogate mummy, has perfected her sandwich making skills and can't wait to hold the baby. Lachlan is his understated self, but I see those secret smiles he makes when we talk about the new baby. He is pleased as punch. Amanda thinks it is all a great game, loves kissing my tummy and is enjoying her last few months of being the youngest. Live it up my little girl, soon you'll be a big sister!!

Thank you Lord for new life. Thank you for giving us a heart for the preciousness of children. Thank you that we are able to have children. We pray that you will hear the prayers of those still waiting for children of their own.

God bless you all!!

Sara (and Dunc) xx
